JIApp allows young patients suffering from Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis disease to record numerous parameters relating to their physical and psychological well-being, access relevant educational information, receive medication and blood test reminders and have an open two-way line of communication with their health care professional (HCP). Clinically relevant information can now be collected by the young person themselves in the real-world environment, rather than by the HCP in the hospital environment, thus fostering the concept of independent management of their healthcare in the maturing teenager.
